September Workshop: Understanding the latest educational censorship policies

With the increase of various educational bills, laws and policies, informed teachers need practical tools to understand and navigate what this means for them and their students in the classroom. Guided by educational expert, Dr. Dilys Schoorman, the collective will learn how to survive and thrive within the newest wave of educational censorship policies.

In this workshop we learn how to survive and thrive within the newest wave of educational censorship policies.

November Workshop: How to build community Action for Educational change

With the increase of various educational bills, laws and policies, informed teachers need practical tools to understand and navigate what this means for them and their students in the classroom. In this workshop we learn how to activate the collective power of our voices to map bold strategies that defend an educational future in which students are placed above political agendas. 

February Workshop: How to Center JOY in 2024

Holding on, lifting up, and centering JOY in our everyday lives is integral to our JUSTICE projects. In this session, we will engage with interactive exercises that gets us out of our heads and into our bodies as we move and commune together through play and fun.

March Workshop: Understanding Educational Policy to Protect our Most Vulnerable students

Guided by the expertise of community leaders in LGBTQ Rights and African-American Studies, this workshop will provide strategies that protect the lives and identities of our most vulnerable student populations.
